MR T HAS THREATENED TO SUE SHRED EAGLE
Chicago, IL -- Mr. T has threatened to sue Shred Eagle for copyright infringement and "other nefarious practices." "I pity the fools," said Mr. T on Monday. "No one better take what is T's."
Recent reporting indicates that papers are ready to be filed with the Northern District of Illinois alleging that Shred Eagle has committed 15 counts of copyright infringement. T's representatives have also accused Shred Eagle of illegally wiretapping the former A-Team star's home telephones.
"I have one thing to say. First name 'Mr.' Middle name period. Last name 'T,'" said the irrate T. With antics seldom seen since he played Clubber Lange in Rocky III, Mr. T excoriated the press, telling them on multiple occasions to "quit their jibber jabber."
Mr. T's representatives cryptically threatened that, if Shred Eagle did not stop "stealing the T's image and soul," they would be forced to file suit. An anonymous source close to Mr. T said, "We've heard Mr. T is all over Shred Eagle's new album. They should get a life. T blazed this trail over 20 years ago."
When asked about Mr. T's threats, Shred Eagle's management responded that the band had "no comment." Joe Yesterday, the band's singer, later commented, "We are doing guitar overdubs and focusing on completing the album. We all loved the A-Team and Mr. T's public service announcements in the 1980s. We have no desire to pick a fight with Mr. T."
